A nagging presence...

September 27th, 2013, 5pm

It was 21°C with few clouds. There was moderate breeze.

My sports therapy clinic’s walls are lined with a series of overly agile, proud and eloquent Japanese calligraphy scrolls that almost seem to nag and mock the painful wrists, arms, necks, knees that are being treated in the establishment. Or are they meant to be read as an encouragement to get better soon and regain full control of our artistic, or otherwise, endeavours? Those poor 80yo lady’s hands were nowhere near recovery though, so what other wisdom lies hidden in these scripts?

Shu, Christine, Cassie, Lia and 5 others said thanks.
