My favorite weekend lunch spot.

July 21st, 2013, 1pm

It was 26°C with clouds and visibility OK. The breeze was gentle.

It’s a place on Kamiyama street called Tomigaya Terrace, and we go on weekends there for lunch — always very good, and only 1000 yen, which is typical for weekday lunches, but rare on weekends (or you can go all out for the steak lunch at 1500 yen). We like it because, as the name suggests, they always keep the front open, and so we can go there with the pooch. I usually get the grilled plate, which is made up of grilled pork or chicken, accompanied by rice and french fries, along with a salad and drink. The atmosphere is really nice at night as well — great place for some drinks and food.
