Day 15 #100happydays: British summer

June 7th, 2016, 8pm

It was 20°C with clouds and visibility OK. The breeze was light.

In true British summer style, glorious sunshine was followed by a heavy downpour and thunder. And in true British summer style, I didn’t let a little water dampen my visit.

It was my first visit to the Chelsea Physic Garden, a beautiful and tranquil secret garden! I can’t believe I’ve never been before. I’ve fallen in love with the place. Fascinating to hear the history of the place, the medicinal properties of plants, and to see such varieties and species thriving in the garden. Yes, I’m a young-fogey and gardening geek!

Adrian, Shu and David Wade said thanks.
