A coffee to settle down the excitement of visiting our first client

January 27th, 2014, 2pm

It was 4°C with few clouds. There was moderate breeze.

It is certainly surreal, after 10 months, a business-model failure, and tons of patience, today I visited my first client to give my first real recommendations. Even though my client is part of a pilot project, in which he gets my service for free and just a “taste” of it, it was still a thrill!

It felt weird to be in the construction site and realize that all the research and work shows in your knowledge and I am becoming an expert (slowly). Had to work the whole weekend on this, since the meeting was agreed in a very short -term notice, but i had FUN! I was happy and relieved, at some point I had considered stopping this business idea… but when working on a project for real I really got powered up! Now we have to see how this develops and what the results will be of these pilots (there are still other 2).

I guess it’s like that quote I heard this weekend: “If you talk about it, it’s a dream. If you envision it, it’s a possibility. But if you schedule it, it’s real.”
