Back in Time

June 25th, 2014, 12am

It was 20.6°C with overcast. The wind was light.

The screenwriters took a calculated risk within the film I watched tonight - and it worked. Amazingly, they had one of the primary characters travel back in time to have a conversation with his younger self (not a new concept in cinema storytelling). But tonight, as I watched the conversation, I stopped watching the movie and asked myself, “What would you say to your younger self if that chance belonged to you?”

I’d probably tell myself to breathe. Indeed, truth will be manifest with time, even though the clock will not slow itself down for the issues eating away at my moments.

Breathe…just breathe…that’s what I’d say.
