The Xmas I was so looking forward to...thinking that things will finally happen by then. It didn't happen two years ago and it won't happen now.

“I wanted to be his life preserver, the thing that would keep him afloat. Instead, he became my anchor. And I’m tired of drowning.”

In life we don’t seem to know when the breaking point is. Where the impossible becomes possible. Half the time we wish it won’t ever come. And when it did, it just cruelly and firmly settles in, with no mercy, with no hesitation. Not even something that the kind, gentle and fragile heart can interfere with and try to halt its advance.

“Any happiness, no matter how brief, seemed better than the long, simmering torture of waking up day after day…”, knowing I could never start living the life I knew I deserve.

Craig said thanks.
