Starting a new business can be chaotic. I use different tools to remind myself of my to-do's

October 29th, 2013, 11pm

It was 10°C with few clouds. There was moderate breeze.

Chaotic might be an understatement… you have all these ideas popping up, plus the input you get from friends and those articles that grab you attention. It took me a while to be able to concentrate in the key areas.

For the prototype of my business I decided to show in a very graphic manner the steps I have to take in order to test my assumptions and really get a feel of what the client wants - (thanks at the author Eric Ries for his Lean Startup methods) so I write down the To-do’s, write steps to take in post-its and when I finish that task, they go to the DONE square. That certainly feels good!

I have to laugh at myself for using so many different notebooks for the same thing. But what can I say? I sometimes need space, sometimes lines and sometimes I just feel bad for leaving a notebook all empty.

Well, we’ll see how it goes with this testing phase!

Jordan, Adrian and Raphael said thanks.
