Chromolocomotion

April 8th, 2014, 1pm

It was 13°C with scattered clouds. The breeze was brisk.

I love the latest artwork to appear hanging in the Barlow Train Shed roof at St Pancras! It was unveiled yesterday but I had to wait until today before I had a chance to see it for the first time.

It love the title too: Chromolocomotion.

This installation was created by David Batchelor and is made from coloured perspex sheets arranged Tetris-like across 20 metres of roof space, with a height of 10 metres.

I think I shall be popping in to look at this quite a few times over the next few months.
