…Central London is this quiet in the middle of a weekday morning! This is the south side of Gordon Square, in the Bloomsbury area of central London. This could rightly be called the university district, as within spitting distance of this we have Birkbeck College, the School of Oriental and African Studies, UCL, the Institute of Education and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, to name just a few of the higher education institutions in the area.

So obviously there are no students around. But then many staff are already on their holidays too, as well as taxi drivers it seems!

All of which makes for a nice, quiet stroll between Birkbeck buildings on a lovely sunny December morning!
