A patchwork landscape

July 1st, 2016, 1pm

This beautiful patchwork came into view as we headed up the River Dart from Dartmouth to Totnes. The patchy cloud meant that the red ploughed soil kept changing in brightness, almost as if it was pulsating with life. Not that you can tell that from a still photograph, but hey, use your imagination!
