The Tapioca way

Very few in India have any knowledge about Tapioca. Fewer know their starch needs are from this. Though its origin goes back to South American countries, it is one of the staple food in Kerala popularly known as Kappa. It is prepared a thousand ways and mostly taken with fish or meat curries. Once in plenty, Kerala’s poor used to have this and now scarce, it is served in star hotels at exorbitant prices.
