Art selfie.

December 14th, 2013, 3pm

It was -3.3°C with broken clouds. There was moderate breeze.

Of course, there’s a sign that says “no photography” next to this piece, which is in the new MOMA Ileana Sonnabend exhibit that will open to the public on the 21st. It’s an interesting piece, polished steel to make it reflected, and painted tissue paper glued on.

The effect is interesting, to make it appear that the art is looking at you, instead of the other way around.

I’ve been working on a series all year of people observing art, so this will be an interesting addition.
