Of course there are many other white kids around here. And the international school here has of course plenty of kids from other African nations or rich Ethiopian families.
But a white kid actually WALKING to school, that is a rare sight. Usually they are driven in SUV style cars with fancy license plates directly from their walled compound to the guarded gates of school.
We like to do things a bit differently …
