This year (2014) I decided to keep a note of things I am grateful for. To look back on at the end of the year and reflect. There was no goal, no need to write one thank you a day or a week or a month. Just when the inspiration struck. And here we are in 2015, just what was I thankful for through last year?

It is the lessons in those last three I want to highlight. On 16th March 2014 I saw a TED talk by an inspirational young man named Sam Berns. It taught me three things :
First be ok with what you can’t do because there is so much you can do!
Second, surround yourself with people you want to be around.
Third, whatever happens, keep moving forward.
On Nov 11th 2014 after a bit of a health scare, I got the all clear. That scare taught me to be grateful for what I have and to focus on what is important to me.
Here’s to 2015! I am excited to see what lies in store.
