An idea to preserve

September 1st, 2016, 10pm

It was 16.7°C. The breeze was gentle.

“Make of yourself a sensitive recording plate.” – Paul Cézanne

Hi is saying goodbye, but Hi represents a type of writing that needs to be remembered and preserved – writing as a mindfulness practice.

Here are the guidelines:

  1. Look at reality.
  2. Look again, see clearly.
  3. Write for 20 minutes. Record the perceptions, thoughts, feelings.
  4. Publish.

Candidness, telling the truthfulness of your perception is aesthetically powerful. When you write about your own experience, originality comes naturally and you’ll never run out of things to say.

Thanks for everything, Hi! See you around!

Foster and Nick said thanks.
