I knew it was dangerous, and risky, and faulty, and unfair-- I still climbed up there.

March 5th, 2015, 7pm

It was 2.8°C. The wind was calm.

Places that provided adventure almost always lured me in. If the place was dangerous, it was almost guaranteed I would go there. It was always my personality to do things that weren’t status quo. It’s kinda my thing. When I arrived at Yosemite, I was completely shut down by the thought of endless sightseeing destinations that said anything but adventure. Surprisingly, I found these heaps of jagged rocks with a sign plastered on top of it: “Danger.” What did I do? I climbed it.
