After dinner this evening I went out for a walk. The sky was overcast and the rain hung in the air, but every once in a while the sun would break through. Either that, or it would rain. I went down Hamnplan by Harry’s and then into Stadsparken. This evening it was largely deserted with the exception of a few dedicated flâneurs like myself. There was a woman and her grown daughter (deducing from their exact same shade of carrot red hair), a couple holding hands, and a hispanic man on a bike who quickly pedaled between the flowerbeds while excitedly and loudly briefing everything he saw to his stoic year old daughter in the kiddie seat behind him. ¡Mira! Las flores están tan hermosas!
I went through the rose garden to the magnolias. This had fallen victim to the rain. The petals were spread in the grass like confetti.
