Early risers

March 31st, 2016, 11am

It was 10°C with scattered clouds. The breeze was gentle.

I love seeing people walking about in the early morning. It’s 6AM and there they are already out. You see the business man in his navy suit, leather shoes and briefcase rushing to work. You see the woman struggling to catch her breath as she jogs up the hill. You see the man being dragged by his dog who sprints at full speed. You see a blur of morning walkers who enjoy the fresh air and pale sunlight. They are all different and they all lead different lives, different struggles to overcome, different circles and different jobs. Yet, they all wake up at 6AM to welcome the new day on the streets. It’s funny how no matter how much we try to deny our connections we are all connected in some way by life.
