I mean the crazy thing about the Transamerica Pyramid is how indisputably a pyramid it is. Looking across the San Francisco skyline, you’re like “building, building, building—oh hi, PYRAMID.” There aren’t many of those around anymore, and something about the shape still conjures these very old, almost mythic feelings.
