In the summer of 2011, my application was approved by the Adventist College Abroad to go to Athens, Greece. In Glyfada, Greece at a nice Hotel I would learn ancient Hebrew for 6 weeks. Adventist Colleges Abroad is primarily the study languages abroad program that primarily functions in the Seventh-day Adventist Higher Education institutions.
I remember that on the day of the flight I packed my bag the same day a few hours before the flight. It was 4:30pm and the flight would depart at 7 o’clock. I had procrastinated to shower and get the traveling documents ready. And when I’m in a hurry I’am prone to forget the things that are important. But I enjoy the adrenaline rush of adventure.
Pedro my brother drove me to Los Angeles Airport in the family van and I rush out at the entrance of the airlines.
