I don’t know why we should ape ‘Bullet Train’ when it doesn’t go beyond 200 kms. Bullets travel at more than 1000 miles per hour. But we have this typical obsession with naming stuff that doesn’t deserve the name at all. Let’s take two examples of names change but the functions doent.
Passenger Trains > Memu > Demu > Ordinary Trains > Fast Trains > Super Fast Trains > Express Trains > Bullet Trains
Now let’s consider a government department – say Income Tax
Asst. Commissioner > Deputy Commissioner > Joint Commissioner > Additional Commissioner > Commissioner > Principal Commissioner > Chief Commissioner > Principal Chief Commissioner
In both the cases, the functions of first are the same as the last. Only the hierarchy and salary/fare changes
