The introspective character of this picture shows something we all relate to —never catching up with yourself.

But there is something more to it for me. It marks a new personal beginning. Tomorrow is my first day in school as PhD student.

So, here is a man through the windowpane, turned to face inwards, his back to the world, although visible, his gaze fixed to a stack of papers bathing in the sun.
