Today the Orthodox Christians in Ethiopia are celebrating the finding of the true cross, a.k.a. Meskel.
For this they light a big bonfire and according to the gospel, in which direction the fire falls, this indicates the true cross.
Big party and everyone dresses in traditional garb, which is mainly white, which somehow seems like a bad idea when dancing around such a big fire.
