Pros:

• Perfect weather
• Comfy chair
• Ample supply of great coffee
• White noise. In this case, a gentle sound of falling water.
• A place away from home. (I find foreign environments are great for reading and remove you from routine distractions)

Cons:

• Somewhat bland trance background music (Think Thai restaurant). I don’t like listening to music when I read (it skews the reading experience) but this is especially bad.

Late Addition Con:

• A woman who thinks this would be a great place to talk on her cellphone.
