The next lovely city in Indonesia after Bandung, in my personal opinion. Why do I put Jogja after Bandung? Because Jogja has lack of public transportation to help you getting around the city. In Bandung, you can find many angkot (city transportation) around the city. For me, angkot is one of aspects to be tourism-friendly city.

This year, Jogja had 258th anniversary. Congratulation! Unfortunately I came a week after the celebration. Despite that, I think the celebration was more traditional and cultural than Bandung had.

Sooo what’s interesting in Jogja? If you love culture and art thingy, Jogja may become your first city to visit in Indonesia. Jogja is the sacred city, especially at Keraton. Sooo special hence named Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta or abbreviated as D.I. Yogyakarta, means Special Region of Yogyakarta.
