This is on First St. Right next to where I live. I see it everytime I pass by, and everytime I slow down to contemplate. It is both familiar and strange. Familiar because it takes my back to my own country where ancient and modern coexist, where the rich historic past shows its bare roots in every step and strange because I can not place these layers in any specific moment in the past. I can vaguely say they are old, and certainly beautiful.
