'The Blue Apartment Block'

December 20th, 2013, 6pm

There’s something very Greek, very reminiscent of my childhood and very fascinating about these dark, unseen, usually ugly vacant lots that offer a view to the back of apartment blocks. Consequently, this is a moment about the ugly posterior rather than the gorgeous interior of the building known as ‘The Blue Apartment Block’, built in 1933, blue because of its initial exterior colour, and, in my opinion, one of the handsomest representatives of the Modernist movement in Greek Architecture.

Craig, Adrian and Cassie said thanks.
