“If more of us valued food, cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.” – J.R.R. Tolkien
Starting posts with quotes is corny, but that quote sums up what food means to me. A lot of my happiest memories are tied with food.
You see, food -in any shape or form- is a major part of my culture and continues to be a huge part of who I am.
Most of my days are consumed by thoughts of food, from cooking to dining to eating to random on/offline discussions; there is never a day that goes by where I do not talk about food (kinda annoying).
It’s scary how much food dictates my being. Where I live. Who I date. Friends and even work environments revolve around food. It would not surprise me if my obsession was to be clinically diagnosed as a sickness.
Reason no. bajillion, Tokyo suits me so. It is one of, if not the best food city on the planet. Pretty legit people agree with me, too. 1 and 2.
