Kyoto when the sakura are in full bloom is obviously and absurdly beautiful. This was my first visit to Kyoto when the leaves are changing color and I’d always wanted to visit during this season.
There aren’t many things that sound more garish than a Golden Pavilion, but every new view on this visit took my breath away.
Please stand back from the edge. Please be mindful of the yellow line. Please form a queue. Please be patient.
