it was fun to receive compliments, but more fun when they were from kids. while painting, I heard a few hushed voices behind me. I thought it was one or two people watching me paint. after some minutes, I turned around to look, and was greeted by what looked like 30 or more kids watching me paint! I fielded some compliments and questions. my favorite was, “where are the cars?” I said they were moving too fast for me to paint. the kids were satisfied with my answer.
