Those who think corruption is a verb, think again. Corruption is actually an ideology or to be precise a state of mind. Not necessary that you have not taken bribe means you are not corrupt. Corruption breeds in thinking. You may have seen many people looking at women the way they have never seen the opposite gender. Even men face the same glare from women. Do you have any idea what they could be thinking? The corrupt mind begins its devilish act from here. You look down to socially backward people, do not allow them to enter your home nor touch your utensils, fight for that small increase in monthly income your domestic help may be asking or look down people who have dressed poorly or people with disabilities – you are certainly corrupt. You may have skipped the Verb in corruption but failed to pass the metaphor in it. Imagine a billion people with such minds. What will happen to this nation?
