I miss the stage. After all, what's the difference between real life and a script?

February 7th, 2014, 11pm

Watching the Class of ‘15 put up the annual NUS Law School performance made me miss the time where I was involved in my own class’s production. It was one of the major events in my life where I had to step out of my comfort zone and try something I had never done before. I never regretted it. It was quite an experience.

Our plot was centred around three characters seeking to break free of their own (somewhat self-imposed) boundaries. Ironically enough, breaking free of society’s imposed expectations is something that (I believe) everyone struggles with on a day-to-day basis.

When it comes down to it, I believe that whatever you do, as long as you are at peace with God, you don’t need to concern yourself with what other people think. It means nothing.

We’ve got to trust our instincts, forge new beginnings, it’s time to start living life for me
