Walked: 45km a total of 13h straight 8h on Tarmac, The remaining, finally, up in the mountains and trough a mountain pass, albeit under a torrential rain.

Met: A scarecrow so realistic that was disturbing Kindergarten kids being trained on proper street crossing A bus on a mountain trail (no clue on how it did arrive there) A boar which I misjudged as a bear cub A boar, literally 3 steps away from me, I still don’t know who was more scared to find the other so close, he ran, though. 3 leeches who happily fed on my blood (never walk in the woods under the rain again) No one else for the whole mountain trip and for being in Japan, it’s quite a feature.
