Over spring break, I drove 11 hours until I reached the Great Smoky Mountains. I drove through Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and the Tennessee. Too many windmills to count, but not enough to keep me entertained.
I hiked through the Smokies. The ranger told me that it was a three mile hike to get to “Rainbow Falls.” Little did I know, it would take me two hours to hike it. Through the fog and the mist, the mud and the humidity, I found the 90 ft. waterfall that made the hike all worth the struggle.
