The joy of revolutions is so short. The reality so long.

July 22nd, 2013, 2pm

It was 30°C with scattered clouds. The breeze was gentle.

In Senegal thinking of Egypt. Senegal had it’s revolutions; Négritude was born here, African socialism, and so many Sufi brotherhoods. Wondering where Egypt’s will go, what it means, and how much suffering it will entail.

And finally, what reality it will serve in the end.
