Sometimes nature just tells me to slow down. A positive intention can carry me so quickly through the world that I don’t stop to take note of the little things life has to offer. On this Indian summer day I could think of no better reminder than the flower of a honeysuckle. A honeysuckle is so small I could easily dismiss it as I pass, but if I did I would miss the sweet droplet of nectar it contains. I’m glad that today I stopped to listen.
Saw her last week for a little advice on a direct address to the heavens.
The wintry sleet beneath my feet, makes me think...
Fall fights back.
A cold day covered in colorful blankets.
Red.
A comfy place I dream of sitting in with a steaming cup of coffee over the coming break...
A leaf captured in time or rock vs. paper.
The color of fall in Indiana.
The burnished brightness of the leaves falling from the trees, kindles in me the desire for the warmth of fire.
