Entering here the timeless fellowship of the human spirit. Norlin Library, University of Colorado Boulder.

February 19th, 2014, 12pm

It was 15°C with scattered clouds. The breeze was light.

This started out as a silly selfie texted to my dad, whose PhD dissertation (chemistry) is in the stacks at Norlin. My own thesis is somewhere in the depths of the music library a few buildings away, but there’s no inspirational quote etched in stone above their door. Norlin has two: the human-spirit bit, and “He who knows only his own generation remains always a child.” True.

Christine and David Wade said thanks.
