Had to cackle yesterday when one of the guys replacing our windows knocked and meekly asked if we had any . . . . Windex!

September 20th, 2013, 9am

It was 19.4°C with overcast. There was moderate breeze.

He must have missed the day at trade school upon which they covered “vital supplies for a window guy” and high on the list most certainly had to be “Windex or other glass cleaner.”

So I rooted around under the sink and found, then handed him, a nearly full bottle.

That was yesterday.

They are still finishing up the windows today; he hasn’t offered the bottle back. Then again, he hasn’t asked for a roll of paper towels, either. Maybe that’s next.

Cassie said thanks.
