Suspend your mind and take flight.

April 5th, 2014, 3pm

It was 23°C with scattered clouds. The breeze was light.

My mind is free when I take flight. The silks nestled around my hips. I tip toe, tip toe backwards till there is tension in the silks and let go. My body floats weightlessly and swings in the air.

To fly in the sky, you need to suspend your mind. There’s fear at first when you don’t know if the silks will support you but trust that it will. Fear comes from not knowing what to expect and feeling like you have no control over what’s about to happen. Listen to the guidance of your teacher. Listen to the connection of your body and the silks. Play. Jump. Take flight!
