We weren’t planning on driving through Oregon at all, but after staying in Glacier National Park with horrible weather and only 16 miles of road open in the park, we decided why not Oregon! IN one of our longest driving days on this trip, chose to take I-84 along the Columbia River to get as close to Portland as we could. I don’t think either of us has ever driven along a more beautiful, awe-inspiring route in our lives. We made it to Toll Bridge Park on Hood River and basked in the last few hours of sunlight.
