So ready to settle down after driving from coast to coast, we chose the first apartment building we saw and didn’t look at the others. It turned out to be the best choice for our needs. We’re within walking distance of public buildings, stores, restaurants, and an amazing trail along the Sammamish River. Redmond is just enough city for us to aclimate to the area, and close enough that it’s easy to get to Seattle by public transit (or our van). The weather’s been great and our intent is to enjoy it while we have it.
