The cheers are as loud now as they were at the start. The end of the swim, a long day remains, but gotta love the spirit.

They had to cut off the last 2 swimmers, past the 2 hour 20 minute mark. You could see them having to break the difficult news to the athletes, who no doubt had trained for this moment for months.

So for some, the dream died early today. And it is heartbreak in the midst of triumph.
