Meaningful last words...

August 16th, 2016, 12pm

It was 31.7°C with broken clouds. There was moderate breeze.

Today I was reminded of this sites closing and I felt as though I should thank all of you who have taken time out of your busy lives to read my thoughts. I am forever grateful because this writing community has given me the opportunity to collectively document moments of inspiration that I otherwise might have not written.

As this is my last post I’d like to share with you all one last piece of writing that has been running through my mind. It is called: “Together We Should Stand”

Lately I’ve been hearing a lot about segregation of homosexuals, latinos, middle-eastern people, etc. In politics, especially, some people take pride standing against other fellow citizens of the world simply because they don’t share their ideas and moral codes. What do I think? I think that we are all united. It matters not what color our skin tone, what language we speak, what clothes we wear, who we love or what nationality we consider ourselves. It seems to me like we’ve forgotten that we’re all living in the same world. We don’t have the right to alienate people who are different from us. In fact, we should embrace the differences. In short, be kind in all that you do and with everyone you meet and watch as the happiness you’ve worked so long to attain is finally at your fingertips.
