Faith Travels

This is Dwarka, one of the must visit for Hindus. But this place is also as badly kept as other religious/holy places. When we say holy, it means pure or divine. Divinity is reflected in cleanliness. Why is that only in India we dont have the tradition to keep holy places in such poor conditions. A corporate house is managing the area and they have built some good sculpting work around the area. But what is lacking is basic stuff like banning vehicles around temple, moving animals out of the stipulated areas, stop this never ending construction work and not allowing renovations in any buildings around the temple so that the temple remains as sacred as it was at the beginning. But these are un-populist measures which no administration will dare to take. (Excluding repairing work on the heritage)
