I was hoping to extend this sketch with a photo of my garden. With the little fountain, the frogs, the green raffia umbrella. The abundance of flowers, the sprinkler that’s watering the grass. The hammock with my kid’s toys in it, idling. The neighbor’s cat. The bees. The noise — the sea-like replacement of silence — of the distant city in the background. The taste of a fine dinner in my mouth. But alas, it seems to be, technically, impossible to add a picture to an already published sketch here on Hi. And besides, before I blame the tool: I am technically incapable of creating such an image.
