In New York for a conference in which every second is scheduled, social, network-y — I love these digital publishing conferences but they are exhausting. Thinking, paying attention and all the talkity talk talking. Whew.
But I stole away, got a seat at the opera — opening night of La Boheme even! — and submerged myself. I didn’t talk to anyone, I didn’t drink too much or eat too much. But I did gobble up that glorious music like a starving woman.
