Shadowlands

May 16th, 2014, 6am

I hurriedly snapped this picture this morning using my phone as we were crossing the Eynsford Viaduct. It was a beautiful sunny morning and I loved the long shadows cast by the viaduct supports, as well as the landscape in general of course (although you’ll probably have to click on the picture to see the full effect). The line of trees going off to the right marks the track to Eagle Heights, a bird of prey centre, while just out of shot to the left is Lullingstone Roman Villa.

Click here if you want to see the view looking the other way from the viaduct.

Apologies for the dirt in the centre of the shot, and the light flare at the top. Hazards of taking a picture through a train window!

David Wade and Jess said thanks.
