He’s a musician from New York busking his way across Europe, carrying a notebook, a banjo and a heart full of song. We talked about our shared faith in the world around us, that indefatigable trust in humans to be inherently good. As the night wore on we traded stories from the road, then he tuned his guitar and encircled us with music.
Maybe I’m just a sucker for street musicians or boys with blue eyes, but it seemed really simple to make that connection. Humanity revolves around kindness, and it makes us strong. I like to think about him out there somewhere, his fingers dancing across guitar strings with all the strength in the world.
"You'll know when you arrived".
Lazy Afternoon in Venice (Italy)
Getting lost, once again
Watching the remnants of the setting sun
Playing on the edge of the Adriatic Sea
Basking in the Adriatic sun among the canals of Venice
Eating breakfast in the sun on the edge of a canal
Exploring Venice once the crowds have departed
Non siamo gondolieri
