Todos Santos is north of Cabo San Lucas. A beautiful and less touristy alternative. Spectacular sunsets and dangerous tides. We had this beach to ourselves watching whales from the shore.

I visited in March 2014 and stayed at a lovely B&B called El Hotelito, which was a 10 minute walk from the beach down a peaceful dirt road. I was impressed with the dramatic landscapes of Baja - an inhospitable desert juxtaposed with a ferocious Pacific tides. Todos Santos was very laid back and had fantastic Mexican food - marlin and tuna tacos are their specialty. A wonderful Oasis in the desert.
