Day 7 #100HappyDays: The bridge

March 18th, 2014, 6pm

It was °C.

My happy moment today was actually at breakfast when I saw the maitre d pull out the biggest pencil sharpener to sharpen her pencil. She only had a small lectern but it managed to house the biggest old school pencil sharpener I have ever seen. It reminded me of the one we used to have at school, which was fixed to a table. Unfortunately I didn’t have my camera to hand to snap a shot.

So instead, you have a photo of the bridge in ‘no-man’s land’, half in Singapore and the other half in Malaysia. I’m a little confused about which country I’m currently in!

And we seem to have brought the rains with us. Proper relentless monsoon rains today in both Malaysia and Singapore. Both Singapore and KL have suffered from droughts in the last month. KL have water rationing at the moment but unfortunately, our rains won’t be passing them any time soon.

Adrian, Peter, David Wade and Christine said thanks.
